We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR/AVG).

What data do we collect?

Identity and contact details: first name, last name, email address, phone number
Address details: delivery and billing address
Order and payment details: order history, payment method and status (we do not store card numbers)
Communication records: email and WhatsApp correspondence
Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, cookie data (Cookie Policy)

For what purposes and on what legal basis do we use your data?

Processing and delivering your order – performance of a contract
Customer service and returns – performance of a contract
Accounting and tax records – legal obligation
Newsletter and promotional emails – your explicit consent (which you may withdraw at any time)
Site analytics and ad measurement – your cookie consent
Fraud prevention and site security – legitimate interest

Who do we share your data with?

We share your data with the following parties only to the extent necessary to provide our service:
Shopify – e-commerce platform
Payment providers – Shopify Payments, PayPal and connected payment methods
Shipping carriers – PostNL, DHL, DPD (name, address, phone for delivery)
Advertising and analytics partners – Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest (only with your cookie consent)

We do not sell your data. If data is transferred outside the EU (for example to service providers in the US), legal safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply.

Retention period

Order and invoice data is retained for 7 years as required by Dutch tax law. When you withdraw your newsletter consent, your email address is removed from our list. Other data is not kept longer than necessary for its purpose.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict and object to processing, and to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. You can send requests to info@naturlinaorganics.com; we will respond within one month at the latest.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens): autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl

Security

Our site is SSL-encrypted, payments are processed over a secure connection and only authorised persons have access to your data.
